Who are we?
After Darıca was ceded from Gebze district in 2008, Darıca Municipality started its services as a district city hall. It is a non profit local government located in the coastline of the large town of Kocaeli with the population of 250.000 approximately. Our municipality is an autonomous authority, elected directly by the people in Darıca with a mandate to promote the development of their territory.
This Sector
Main goals are generally strengthening of entrepreneurial activities through local services and promoting of sustainable ways to live on and enable society to access local resources most (healthy locally produced food, sustainable use of resources, use of natural building materials and implementation of regional architectural styles, repurposing of materials, waste recycling, self-sustainable economy) and other reasons to satisfy the community's needs.
